Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

Tax Pro Local is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities, including visitors browsing firm listings, job seekers building a Candidate Profile and applying for jobs, and firm owners managing their dashboard. We continually work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards across every part of the Site — public pages, dashboards, and forms alike.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and more usable for everyone.

Measures We Take

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy across public pages, blog articles, and legal pages
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background across our theme system
  • Descriptive alt text on meaningful images (firm logos, cover photos, profile photos)
  • Keyboard-navigable forms, including the multi-field job application and Candidate Profile forms
  • Clear form labels and validation messaging

Known Limitations

As with most websites of our size, some third-party embedded content (such as payment gateway checkout widgets) is outside our direct control. We work with our providers to encourage accessible implementations.

Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Tax Pro Local. If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere on the Site, please let us know by contacting support@taxprolocal.com, and we will make reasonable efforts to address it.
